  5. Handicapped accessibility – handicapped parking is available in the south parking lot. The southeast entrance is handicapped accessible.   The handicapped restroom is located just inside and to the right.
  6. Welcome Center –Holy Cross volunteers will greet you at our Welcome Center, which is near the north entrances to the building.  These volunteers can you get you pointed in the right direction and answer any questions that you may have.  Please remember to pick up a visitor folder and informational brochures.
  7. Coats – coat racks are near all entrances.
  8. Nursery – there is a nursery available for toddlers on Sunday mornings.  The attendant is a licensed day care provider.  Please ask a greeter or usher for the location of the nursery.

During Worship Services

  1. Worship space – the worship space is on the east side of the building (closest to Pilgrim road).  On your way into worship, an usher will hand you a bulletin/program that will guide you through the service.  You can also pick up a children’s bulletin or quiet activity bag for your child.  Children are always welcome and encouraged to attend worship with their parents.
  2. Seating – our worship space has capacity for hundreds of people, so there is always room for you!  If needed, ushers can guide you to a seat.
  3. Cry Room – we love the sounds of children, but sometimes your infant or toddler needs a break!  If that happens, ask an usher to direct you to the cry room where you will still be able to see and hear the service while attending to your little one’s needs.
  4. Worship styles – holy cross has a variety of worship styles from which to choose.
    • Saturday 5:00pm:  casual traditional service with keyboard
    • Sunday 7:45am and 9:00am:  traditional services featuring beautiful pipe organ music
    • Sunday 10:30am:  “contemporary” service featuring a worship band
(all of the services are approximately 1 hour in length.)
  5. Holy Communion – we celebrate an open table, meaning you do not need to be a Lutheran or a member of our congregation to receive holy communion.  We welcome all who are baptized and believe that Jesus is present in the bread and the wine.  All children are welcome to come forward for a blessing.  Children 2nd grade and older who have received holy communion instruction are invited to celebrate the supper.  If you have any questions email Pastor Meredith meredithm@holycrosslutheran.org or call us at 262-251-2740.
  6. Visitor and Communion cards – we would like to know who is visiting us.  Please fill out a visitor card or communion card that is located in the pew in front of you.

After Worship Services

  1. Social time - at the conclusion of the 7:45am and 9:00am sunday services, many of our families meet in the “Gathering Place” to enjoy hot coffee, tasty treats, and socializing with new and old friends.  Please join us!
  2. Explore – use this time to see the rest of our beautiful church, including our Joy to the World Nativity Collection.  Stop back at the Welcome Center and ask for a tour of the building.
