Faith Development (Sunday School) Classes are offered for

3-year-olds through 6^th grade at 9:00 and 10:30am.

Families are also encouraged to participate in worship together each Sunday.

PJ'S & Prayers is a ministry for all 3-year -olds to 1^st grade children and a parent(s). 

It is most often held on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30-7:30 pm.

 

More Than A Movie Night is a ministry for all 2^nd to 6^th grade children. 

It is most often held on the first Friday of each month from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Our Purpose and Mission

To support parents in their role as primary educators in the faith development of their children.  Our combined purpose is to pass on the faith to all of God’s children.  This is in fulfillment of the baptismal promises.

 

Our Vision

For every child to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and to know God’s boundless love and grace.

 

Objectives

To provide instruction in the Christian Faith through:

            The study of the Bible,

            The study of Martin Luther’s Small Catechism and

            The development of relationships through a caring Christian Community.

Options

Class sessions for 3-year-olds through 6^th grade children are Sunday mornings coinciding with worship times at 9:00 and 10:30am. The 9:00am classes have separate classrooms for each age and grade level.  Classes at 10:30am may have blended age and grade level classrooms.  If there are more than 15 students in a classroom we will attempt to provide additional classroom space and teachers.  Christian music is offered at both sessions.

 

Little Lambs Nursery

Little Lambs Nursery is available for children under the age of three and not yet in our Faith Development Program.  The nursery is staffed with a Caregiver (paid nursery attendant) at the 9:00 and 10:30am service times.  Parents are asked to assist five times per year.

 

Enrollment

Children are enrolled by a parent, guardian, or caregiver each year by filling out a registration form.  While we always have space available for your child it may not be at the session time you prefer.  Please enroll in May to avoid disappointment.  Formal enrollment dates for the 2011-2012 year will be Sundays, May 1^st and May 15^th, 2011.  Enrollment takes place in the Faith Development area at 8:30 - 11:30am.  After these scheduled dates for enrollment you may fill out a registration form and turn it in to the Christian Education Office.  Enrollment will continue throughout the year for those who decide to join us!
