"Bringing Real Students to a Real God"

At Holy Cross, we believe that we live in a world with a very real God.  God’s spirit and word is who we are and it is up to us to live our lives to be God’s hands in the world. 

We strive to make ‘The Crossing’ a place where students not only feel accepted and want to be, but a place where they will want to bring their friends.  The members and staff of Holy Cross are passionate about helping our students learn to live the kind of life God wants us to live. At Holy Cross, we believe that today's students can change the world so we are dedicated to building relationships that help our students develop into strong Christians.

We are built on four key elements that shape our students to be what Christians are called to be.

Worship: is the foundation of who we are as Christians.  God is the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving, and ever-present spirit who deserves our praise.  God has given us the gift of his amazing grace so it is only fair for us to give the glory back to Him!

Service: is a central aspect of our Christian lifestyle.  We follow a Christ who loves as well as serves.  We are called to get our hands dirty to serve others!

Study: God has given us an inspired guidebook to live our lives. We study God’s Word because it is the most direct way to get to know Him.  If you think about it, God is the most awesome and fascinating topic… in the universe. He has called us to learn about who He is, what He has created, why He cares, and what He would like us to do with what he has given us.

Fun: This element of the group is the easiest to come by.  This is the time where friendships are formed and bonded into lifelong relationships.  Our time hanging out with one another is where we make memories.
