We Believe every Chrisitan, young or old, can do ministry. At The Crossing, we have several opportunities where you can engage and serve with us.
We understand that ministry can be scary, but there is nothing that compares to the joy you get by stepping out and trusting God to use you to impact others. We have m;ultiple ways for you to engage with our ministry!
Students: Are you looking to try something new and make a difference in the church? Are you looking to break down the stereotypes that your friends may have about how church is terrible?
Parents: Are you looking at your student and seeing that there is something missing. Do you see something in your student that student counsel, football teams and dance classes aren't giving to them?
The Crossing Student Leadership Pods are allowing our students a chance to be leaders in our church and our community. This new aspect of our ministry will give our students real life opportunities to lead and to grow as young adults. Our Leadership Pods are set build friendships and build confidence that last far beyond their high school years! Currently we have five Pods.
Getting Connected Leadership Pod- This pod is focused on developing relationships with students in our ministry and in our community.
Fellowship Leadership Pod – This pod is focused on fun events and activities that our students want to do!
Service Leadership Pod – This pod is focused on finding different service opportunities for our students to participate in. (Food pantry drive, Care packages, park clean-ups, etc.)
Music and Worship Leadership Pod – This pod is focused on the time that our students will worship together on Wednesday nights. This pod will focus on finding new and fun ways for students to worship.
Trip Planning Leadership Pod – This pod is focused on planning everything that goes into planning our summer trips and retreats throughout the year.

Faith Groups in our congregation were a huge success in the Summer of 2010! What does that mean for our Youth Ministry? We want carry the momentum of what has happened with the church into our Youth Ministry! Beginning in October we will be starting student small groups. There are many studies that suggest that small group activities for today’s youth are an awesome way for them to explore their faith deeper than just Sunday mornings.
BUT... We need mentors and small group leaders for our high school students!!! The impact you could make as a small group mentor is more than you know. Our students are yearning for faith-filled mentors in their lives... Are you up to the exciting challenge of being a small group mentor?
