At Holy Cross, we are a vibrant, multigenerational, and growing congregation rooted in the love of Christ and committed to living out that love in meaningful and relevant ways. With more than 1,500 members, we welcome individuals and families from across the region to worship, grow, and serve together.

We are proud members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Greater Milwaukee Synod — open to all people, wherever you are on your journey.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States with nearly 3.3 million members in more than 8,900 worshipping communities across the 50 states and in the Caribbean.

The Greater Milwaukee Synod is home to 118 congregations, 3 SAWCs (Synod-Authorized Worshipping Communities) and an active campus ministry. Our synod covers an area from Kenosha north to Sheboygan and west to Ixonia.

Our faith is firmly planted in the Gospel, reflected in our worship and sacraments, and full of God’s grace. We reflect on scripture to find meaning in all the ways God shows up in our lives and how we can serve others.

We believe God is still speaking as we humbly work to connect our faith to our lives. We are a multigenerational community, bonded by faithful engagement, growing together to transform the world around us.

We are allies for our neighbors and strangers in need, seeking justice and offering a sense of community. We welcome God’s children of all backgrounds, circumstances, and identities, to be fully known and loved.

We’re proud to partner locally with All Peoples and Hephatha Lutheran Churches in Milwaukee, and globally with our friends at Seela Parish in the Meru Diocese of Tanzania and Manantiales del Desierto (Springs in the Desert) in El Salvador.
