Shannon Siebers
interim Communications Specialist
Shannon is from Germantown, WI and has been there her whole life. She was a Girl Scout who worked on the National Girl Scout Convention in 2017, a member of the marching band, and a page at the Germantown Community Library.
She studied English Literature and Cultural Theory with a certificate in Digital Arts and Culture in her undergrad. At UWM, she also was an assistant for Geek Week, a yearly tradition of nerdy events, and was the president of the D&D Network. She continued to work at the Germantown Community Library for 9 years, and went on to design many things for them, including the library logo and the Enchanted Library vehicle wrap. She also wrote, filmed, and edited many of their Summer Reading Program videos. She is currently enrolled at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee pursuing a Masters of Library and Information Science.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy books, watercolor painting, making earrings, spending time with friends and family, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and playing the guitar (very poorly). A fun fact about her: she just adopted a kitten!
